Kent founded the RIT Red Barn Outdoor Experiential Education and Leadership Training Program.  He was a mentor to more than 25 world-wide Outward Bound Interns. After teaching and encouraging students and staff "to take risks,” he realized he needed to follow that advice and a long-time dream.  Leaving his tenured, senior professor position, Kent opened RockVentures in 1995. He has hosted the American Mountain Guide Association, Fortune 500 Companies, and others over the past sixteen years. Kent is a certified DiSC and OutComm(r) Visual Mapping Facilitator and assist s groups to achieve consensus on Mission and Vision Statements, and other Strategic Objectives.  Kent and his wife Ginny, have recently built a cabin up in the Town of Wanakena.... the more remote part of the Adirondack State Park.   Four children, 5 grand children, spouses, growing extended families....we are very lucky.

Shared Adventures Inc. Travel Agency and Training Company, is owned by Kent as well.  Travel arrangements often include school field trips and family travel.  Many trips are in the Rochester Area, Finger Lakes and the Adirondacks.  We also plan Disney vacations, cruises and anything else....here, there and anywhere.  Educational Teambuilding and Training Seminars are offered through Shared Adventures.  Most Seminars serve companies in Western NY, as we are located half-way between Buffalo and Syracuse, on the museum trail in Rochester.  We can serve here, there, anywhere.

Terri Goebel is our General Manager and Senior Travel Agent.  Terri's family includes husband Tim, and children Taylor and Kourtney.  Terri's background includes adventure and other sports, managing a Travel Agency for more than 25 years, travelling and playing with her family, regionally and elsewhere.

We are pleased to work with Veterans, including Wounded Veterans and Significant others; in Rochester and in the Adirondacks and Colorado.
